The most common arthritis symptoms include:

For many people with arthritis, these symptoms are usually worse in the morning.
What causes arthritis?
There at least 100 different kinds of arthritis, and more than 40 million men, women, and children who have arthritis in the United States. They’re usually the result of lost cartilage. Your cartilage is a covering a flexible tissue that protects your joints.
The most common forms of arthritis are:
Osteoarthritis
This form of arthritis develops when abnormal wear and tear on your body causes your cartilage to degenerate. Your chances of having osteoarthritis increase if you have a family history of this disorder.
Rheumatoid arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is a condition that develops when your body attacks itself. This disease is an autoimmune disorder and causes your immune system to attack the tissue lining your joints that nourish your cartilage.
